Saturday in the Park
Saturday in the park is an color that conjures up exactly what it’s name implies. It was one that I made first, and immediately thought of the name afterwards.
With pops of pink, aqua and steel blue along with white, anything made with this yarn will bring to mind warm summer nights and nice spring days spent outside amongst nature.
I have seen this knit and held double with a white silk yarn for a cardigan and it looked absolutely stunning that way. It would also play very nice with Grey Street for a nice two color cardigan or shawl!
Something like the Bristol Lace Cardigan by Robyn Chachula in crochet or like the Rock It Tee by Tanis Lavallee would be stunning in these two colors!
A little about my colorways: I name all of my colorways for songs or lyrics, or bands. Music is a huge love of my life, as are the fiber arts. If you aren’t sure what lyric or song the yarn you get is named after, it is kind of fun to go take a listen or to look up the artist. 🙂
Some Colors I think Would go well with Saturday in the Park:
