Orange Crush
Orange Crush is fun, bright orange with speckles and hints of a soft undertone. It lends itself to projects that are more boisterous, but can be toned down using certain other more natural, toned down colors.
This is one that I named before I ever dyed it. It happens to be something I overdyed my limited edition color Cherry Bomb with. The other yarn that has a Cherry Bomb overdye is Wildflowers. Coincidently, I think this will go well with Cherry Bomb (While my supply lasts) and especially with Wildflowers.
I can see this being a fun color for a multicolor cowl or shawl. If you need a project idea you might try Desert Sun by Tamy Gore, or Shawlography by Stephen West for knitting, or KBB Shawl by Brittany Garber for Crochet.
A little about my colorways: I name all of my colorways for song or lyrics. Music is a huge love of my life, as are the fiber arts. If you aren’t sure what lyric or song the yarn you get is named after, it is kind of fun to go take a listen or to look up the artist. 🙂
