Midnight Special
Midnight Special is a beautiful deep, dark midnight blue. It is one of my favorite colors, and was entirely unexpected. I was getting ready for a trunk show, and had created too many Love is a Battlefield, so I overlaid blue on top of it. The result was this stunning beauty. I think it would work pretty well with almost any color that you could pair it with.
This is one of the colorways that got its name after I saw it dry, but I really feel like it lives up to its’ name.
A little about my colorways: I name all of my colorways for song or lyrics. Music is a huge love of my life, as are the fiber arts. If you aren’t sure what lyric or song the yarn you get is named after, it is kind of fun to go take a listen or to look up the artist. 🙂
